Description

Wellbeing Connect Services is a mental health charity with an excellent track record of 27+years strong reputation for providing quality services to families with multiple and complex needs, including mental health and domestic violence issues in Enfield and Haringey. Our Integrated Community / Family Hub (for Mental Wellbeing & Social Care Support) was established in October 2022 in collaboration with Barnardo’s as its local partner, to serve a community with high level of deprivation, further impacted by Covid-19, especially in relation to those from black and minority ethnic backgrounds across London Boroughs of Enfield and Haringey. We are currently the only wrap around, Integrated Community and Family Hub (ICFH) for mental and social care services in the area, serving the needs of the whole family system, transcending all aspects of life especially to BAME communities. The services at the ICFH includes varying wrap around integrated support services as follows: • Holistic Assessment / Information and Advice • Specialist Advocacy Support • Therapeutic Support (Talking / Art Therapies) • Mediation Support • Parental Support • Mentoring / Coaching • Community Food Hub / Service Referral Support • Training and Employment Support • Community Outreach / Mental Wellbeing Awareness activities

Description

The Edmonton Community Partnership (ECP) began in 2011 when a group of local schools came together to address some of the issues facing our shared communities. Together we have run many local projects to address the complex needs that exist within Edmonton, providing support for our schools and the local community. We have run a wide range of projects, from language lessons for adults to cooking classes for kids. Whether it is counselling for vulnerable children or a live performance from our school’s most promising young creatives, our initiatives are about helping people unleash their full potential. OUR MISSION Edmonton is an area in which many people live in deprivation, with new immigrants struggling with social isolation, child poverty rates of 53% (well above the national average of 21%), and issues around youth violence. This means there are many who need extra support to gain access to the opportunities they deserve. ECP’s projects and initiatives bring people together and give them the tools they need to thrive. We have strong links with local partner organisations (Enfield Council, Police and many other community and voluntary groups) and are always looking for new ways to make a difference to the lives of local people.
